Prophet Harun (Aaron, peace be upon him) was the brother of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him), known for his eloquent and clear speech. When Allah sent Musa to Pharaoh, Musa asked Allah to make his brother Harun a helper and partner in delivering the message. Allah answered his prayer and sent Harun as a prophet alongside his brother.

Harun stood by his brother Musa in the most difficult moments, speaking with Pharaoh alongside him with wisdom and patience, strengthening his brother's resolve, and sharing the responsibility of calling people to the worship of Allah alone without tiring.

When the Children of Israel left Egypt and Allah saved them from Pharaoh, Musa went to Mount Tur to speak with his Lord, leaving Harun in charge of their people, instructing him to keep peace among them and not to follow the path of those who cause corruption.

During Musa's absence, some of the Children of Israel strayed and made a golden calf, worshipping it instead of Allah. Harun was deeply saddened and advised his people to turn back from this grave mistake, though some did not listen to him at first.

When Musa returned and learned what had happened, he asked his brother Harun about it. Harun honestly told him that he had tried to stop them and advise them, but they had not obeyed him. This showed everyone Harun's trustworthiness and honesty in speaking the truth even in the most difficult situations.

The story of Prophet Harun teaches children the value of cooperating with one another for good, and the importance of honesty and trustworthiness even when a situation is difficult and uncomfortable.

The Lesson: Cooperating for good and being honest even in difficult situations are qualities of the noble prophets.
