Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his wife Sarah had grown old and had not yet been blessed with a child, but they never lost hope in Allah's mercy.

Some angels visited Ibrahim (peace be upon him) appearing as honored guests, and they gave him and Sarah the good news of a son named Ishaq, who would grow up to be a righteous prophet.

Sarah was amazed at this news because of her old age, but the angels gently reminded her that nothing is too difficult for Allah's power.

The good news came true, and Ishaq (peace be upon him) was born. His parents rejoiced greatly and thanked Allah for this wonderful blessing after such a long wait and much patience.

Ishaq (peace be upon him) grew up in a home full of faith and devotion, learning from his father Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to love and obey Allah in everything.

Allah honored Ishaq (peace be upon him) with prophethood, and many prophets came from his descendants after him, carrying the message of believing in One God.

The Lesson: Patience and trust in Allah bring great joy, and Allah's mercy is wide no matter how long the wait feels.
