Prophet Musa (Moses, peace be upon him) was born at a time when a tyrant king, Pharaoh, oppressed the Children of Israel. Fearing for her baby, his mother was inspired by Allah to place him in a basket and set him upon the river, with Allah's promise that He would return him to her safely. The current carried the basket to Pharaoh's palace, where Pharaoh's wife found the baby, loved him, and asked that he be raised in the palace.

Musa grew up in the palace, and when he became a man, Allah guided him and honored him with prophethood, sending him to Mount Tur, where Allah spoke to him and gave him two miracles: his staff, which turned into a snake by Allah's permission, and his hand, which shone bright white without any harm when he drew it out.

Allah sent Musa, along with his brother Harun (Aaron, peace be upon him), to Pharaoh, calling him to worship Allah alone and to let the Children of Israel live with dignity, free from oppression. But Pharaoh was arrogant and refused, trying to convince people that Musa was merely a magician deceiving them.

Pharaoh gathered his greatest magicians to challenge Musa. They threw down their ropes and staffs, which appeared to move like snakes, but Musa's staff, by Allah's permission, swallowed up everything they had made. The magicians immediately believed, realizing this was no trick but a true miracle from Allah.

Still, Pharaoh grew even more stubborn and unjust, so Allah commanded Musa to leave with the Children of Israel by night. When Pharaoh and his army caught up with them at the sea, Allah inspired Musa to strike the sea with his staff. The sea parted by Allah's permission, and the Children of Israel crossed safely, while Pharaoh and his soldiers were drowned.

The story of Prophet Musa is told to children to teach them that Allah protects His righteous servants, that injustice, no matter how long it lasts, is destined to end, and that trusting in Allah in the hardest moments opens the doors of relief.

The Lesson: Allah supports His sincere servants and gives the unjust time, but never neglects them.
