Khaled was one of the fastest runners at school. On Sports Day, he won the running race and got the gold medal. He was overjoyed, but he began bragging to his classmates, saying, I am the fastest, no one can compete with me.

Khaled kept repeating this all day, until his friends grew uncomfortable and started avoiding him. His teacher noticed and asked him to stay behind after class.

The teacher said, Winning is a wonderful gift, Khaled, but bragging about it pushes people away instead of making them happy for you. The best champions stay humble no matter how much they succeed.

The next day, Khaled saw his friend Samer stumble during practice and fall to the ground. Instead of laughing at him like before, he rushed over, held out his hand, and helped him up, saying, It's okay, try again, I'll practice with you.

From that day on, Khaled encouraged his friends instead of boasting over them, and everyone loved him even more, not for his speed, but for his humility and kindness.

The Lesson: Humility makes winning even sweeter, and makes people love us more than any medal could.
