When we want to find something out, we use special words called “question words.” The most important ones are «مَن» (who) for a person, «ماذا» (what) for a thing, «أين» (where) for a place, «متى» (when) for a time, «كيف» (how) for a way something happens, «لماذا» (why) for a reason, and «كم» (how many) for a number.

Examples: “Who lives in this house?”, “What do you eat in the morning?”, “Where is your school?”, “When do you wake up?”, “How did you clean your hands?”, “Why do you love reading?”, “How many brothers and sisters do you have?”

Question words help us become curious and learn something new every day — every question opens a door to greater knowledge.
