Get a standard ring-stacking toy (a fixed post with rings of varying sizes) and scatter the rings on the floor in front of your child. Let them start by placing any ring on the post in any order, just to get the mechanics.

Once they've got the idea, point out that some rings are bigger than others, and ask them to stack from largest to smallest starting at the base, forming an even cone shape. Help by pointing to the right-sized ring if they struggle, without solving the task for them entirely.

This activity strengthens fine motor control and hand-eye coordination, and builds the concept of relative size (bigger/smaller) and logical ordering in a hands-on, concrete way.
