In a garden full of roses lived a little ant named Nemoula, who lived with her sisters in a small home beneath a tree trunk. One day, she found a grain of wheat that was very large and heavy compared to her tiny size.
Nemoula tried to lift the grain, but it slipped and fell. She tried again, and it fell again. Some of the other ants laughed at her and said, 'Leave it, it is much heavier than you.'
But Nemoula did not give up. She thought for a moment, then decided to push the grain instead of carrying it. She began pushing it step by step, and whenever she grew tired, she rested a little before trying again.
Long hours passed, and her small body grew weary, but she kept going with patience and never complained, until at last she reached the door of her home and pushed the grain inside, as her surprised sisters cheered.
The queen ant told her, 'You succeeded because you never lost your patience, Nemoula, not because you were the strongest.' All the ants learned that day that patience and perseverance can achieve what strength alone cannot.
The Lesson: Patience and perseverance can achieve what strength alone cannot.
