On her first day of school, Lina walked into the classroom with hesitant steps, glancing around shyly. Her family had recently moved to a new city, and she didn't know anyone at this big school, so she sat alone at the back of the class, feeling sad and out of place.

Huda, an outgoing student in the same class, noticed that Lina sat by herself and didn't speak to anyone during break. She walked over with a warm smile and said, "Hi, I'm Huda. Would you like to sit with us in the yard?"

Lina hesitated at first but shyly agreed. Huda introduced her to the rest of her friends, told her about the school's routines, where the library was, when gym class started, and helped her catch up on the lessons she had missed during the first week.

As the days passed, Lina began to feel more and more comfortable, laughing and joining activities with her new classmates. She always thanked Huda, telling her, "If you hadn't helped me that first week, I would have felt lonely for a long time."

Huda smiled and replied, "I remembered how I felt when I moved to a new school last year, and how hard it was to be alone. I just wanted to make your day easier." Lina and Huda became close friends who were inseparable.

Lina learned from this experience to become a source of help for others too. She started watching for new students at school and made a point of welcoming them, realizing that one small helping hand could completely change someone's day.

The Lesson: Helping others, especially those who need a friend, spreads happiness and creates real friendships that last.
