On a very hot summer day, a thirsty crow flew everywhere searching for water, but could not find even a single drop to drink.

At last, he found a pitcher standing beside a house, with a little water at the very bottom. He was overjoyed and tried to drink from it.

The crow tried to reach the water with his beak, but the level was far too low, and no matter how hard he tried, he could not reach it.

The crow sat and thought seriously about how to solve this problem, unwilling to give in to the terrible thirst he felt.

Suddenly, a clever idea came to him. He began picking up small pebbles from the ground and dropping them into the pitcher, one by one, and slowly the water level began to rise.

The crow kept dropping pebbles until the water rose to the top of the pitcher, and at last he was able to drink and quench his thirst, thanks to his patience and clever thinking.

The Lesson: Calm thinking and patience can help solve even the hardest problems.
