Kitchen tools are among the things a child sees every day and sometimes tries to use on their own. Print simple drawings of a pot, a wooden spoon, a teapot, a cup, and a plate.

  • Before each drawing, ask your child where they’ve seen this tool and what we use it for.
  • If possible, have them bring the real tool from the kitchen to compare with the drawing.
  • Discuss which tools are hot and need extra care.
  • After coloring, play a short pretend game preparing an imaginary meal with these tools.

This activity connects your child to everyday life skills and teaches them the names of familiar tools around them, while gently introducing kitchen safety and which items need an adult’s help.
