During lunch recess, Saif, Dalia, and Mazen were playing behind the school's old library building when they noticed a small wooden door, half-hidden behind the bushes, covered in dust and clearly unopened for years.
“Let's tell the teacher first before we go in,” Dalia said curiously. Everyone agreed, and they brought their teacher, Miss Salwa, who carefully opened the door using the school's master key. Behind it, they found a short passage lit by old lamps, once used to store books.
The teacher lit their way with her flashlight, and the three friends stepped forward carefully, reading old signs hung on the walls that told the story of the school's history fifty years ago.
At the end of the passage, they found a wooden box holding old photographs of the school and its first students. The school decided to display the box in the library, and Saif, Dalia, and Mazen felt immense pride for uncovering a forgotten piece of their school's history.
