Waad went with her mother to the old traditional market to buy spices and dried fruits. The narrow alleys were full of color and delicious smells, and Waad became so absorbed looking at the colorful piles of spices that she drifted a little away from her mother without noticing.

When she looked up, her mother wasn't beside her anymore. She felt a flutter of worry, but remembered what her mother had taught her: “If you ever get lost, go to a shopkeeper and tell them your name and your mother's name.” She confidently walked over to a nearby sweets seller.

The kind shopkeeper listened to Waad with a reassuring smile and said, “Don't worry, I'll call my fellow shopkeepers to help us look for your mother.” Sure enough, all the vendors worked together, calling out her mother's name through the alleys.

A few minutes later, her mother rushed over and hugged Waad tightly. She bought her some sweets to thank the kind shopkeeper, and Waad learned that the market was full of good people ready to help whenever she needed them.
