On a Tuesday morning, Omar was walking to school with his friend Saad. As they crossed the small park near their homes, Omar noticed something brown lying beside a wooden bench. He walked closer and found a thick leather wallet.

Omar opened the wallet carefully and found a large amount of money inside, along with an ID card showing the photo of an elderly man. Saad said excitedly, "Wow! Now we have a lot of money, we could buy the toys we've always wanted!"

But Omar thought for a moment and said, "This money isn't ours, Saad. Whoever owns this wallet must be very worried right now and searching everywhere for it." He closed the wallet carefully, put it in his bag, and decided to hand it to his teacher as soon as he reached school.

When he arrived, Omar went straight to the principal's office and explained what he had found. The principal called the police, and within the hour an elderly man named Mr. Mahmoud arrived, anxiously looking for his lost wallet.

When Omar returned the wallet with nothing missing, Mr. Mahmoud's eyes filled with tears of joy and gratitude. "May God bless you, my son," he said. "This money was for my wife's treatment. Without your honesty, we would have lost it." He tried to reward Omar with some of the money, but Omar politely refused, saying, "I only did what was right, and that is enough for me."

Omar returned to his classroom feeling a pride in his heart far greater than any reward. His teacher told the class the story, and everyone applauded him, learning that honesty is a treasure beyond price.

The Lesson: Honesty and trustworthiness bring true happiness, and what belongs to others must be returned no matter the temptation.
