On a quiet farm lived a little lamb named Wadee, who was afraid of almost everything — the dark, loud noises, and climbing high hills.
One day, his friend, a young goat kid, went climbing on a rocky hill beside the farm, but slipped and got stuck between the rocks. He couldn't climb down alone and began to cry, frightened.
The other animals heard him, but none dared climb up, since the path was narrow and difficult. Wadee stood hesitating, his heart pounding fast with fear.
Wadee remembered his grandmother's words: 'Courage isn't about feeling no fear — it's about doing the right thing despite it.' He took a deep breath and began climbing carefully, step by step, until he reached his friend.
Wadee gently took the little goat's hoof and helped him climb down slowly and safely. When they reached the ground, all the animals clapped joyfully, proud of Wadee.
From that day on, Wadee understood that it's alright to feel afraid, but true courage means pushing past that fear to help someone we care about.
The Lesson: True courage means doing the right thing even when we are afraid.
