A little ant named Daqqa found a large grain of wheat lying near the field after the harvest. Overjoyed, she tried to carry it alone, pushing and pushing, but the grain was far heavier than her tiny body.

A group of her sisters passed by, and one said, «Let us help you, Daqqa», but Daqqa proudly replied, «I don’t need anyone’s help, I’ll prove I’m strong on my own». She kept pushing the grain under the scorching sun until she was exhausted, panting, without moving it an inch.

Her sisters saw her tired and came near without a word, each placing her small shoulder beneath the grain. It suddenly lifted as if it were a light feather. They carried it to the shared storehouse in a few short minutes, amid happy laughter.

Daqqa sat thinking along the way, then told her sisters, «I thought strength meant carrying alone, but I learned that true strength means carrying together». From that day, Daqqa was the first to call her sisters to work as a team every harvest season.
