In the south of the Arabian Peninsula, Queen Bilqis ruled the great kingdom of Sheba — a land of fertile soil, abundant water, and a magnificent jewel-studded throne. She governed wisely, never deciding a matter without gathering her nobles for counsel, though her people worshipped the sun instead of God.

One day, the hoopoe bird of Prophet Sulaiman arrived carrying a letter, and dropped it before her as she sat in her grand palace. Opening it, Bilqis found it began in God's name, calling her to leave sun-worship and believe in the One God. She gathered her advisors and said, «A noble letter has been delivered to me,» asking for their counsel.

Choosing not to rush into conflict, Bilqis sent Sulaiman a gift to test his intentions, but he returned it and stood firm in his invitation, so she decided to visit him and see for herself. When she saw her own throne, brought to her by a miracle, and recognized the truth of all she had heard, her journey toward faith began — one that would change both her life and her kingdom forever.
