Once your child is used to the Arabic hidden-letter hunt, this is a parallel version introducing them to English letter shapes with the same beloved style of play. Write capital English letters (A, B, C...) on cards and hide them around the room.
- Start with just 5 to 6 of the most common letters found in simple words.
- Ask them to find one letter at a time, saying its name clearly.
- When found, ask for a simple English word starting with that letter, if they know one.
- Gather all the letters at the end and arrange them alphabetically together.
This activity combines physical movement with cognitive learning, gradually and playfully familiarizing your child with English letter shapes before formal language learning begins.
